Crack on the plate of a grand piano!
I had to tell my customer in Wellesly about this bad crack on their Sohmer cupid model grand piano. This model also has agraffes on the bridge instead of standard bridge pins.

A nice tuning on a Steinway “D” 9 foot Concert Grand Piano at the Melrose Memorial Hall. The Winchester Chamber Music held their festival in Melrose this year. I believe one of the reasons is that Memorial Hall is air conditioned!
