This poor piano

This Yamaha from the 1980’s has had a hard life living in direct sun in a room over looking the ocean.

So many cracks in the soundboard you can drive a truck through them.

Strings and tuning pins have tons of rust I was afraid strings would pop!

The ocean water had turned these brass wound bass strings green.

Pianos are mostly made of wood. They are susceptible to swings in humidity. Please try and keep the room your piano is in as constant climate as possible. Your piano will repay you by lasting for generations.
