Strange find in a piano

Don’t know if you can make these out but there are strange staples on two out of the three strings per note.  Just about all of the “tri chord” notes on the piano had these.  I remember seeing these at a guild meeting but never tuned a piano with them on.  I have to say …

I have started reading piano companies “creeds

I love to read what piano companies write on their pianos.  Janssen piano’s seem the have the funniest/best creed out there.  I always get a kick out of it.

Piano tuning for WinchesterChamber Music Festival

A nice tuning on a Steinway “D” 9 foot Concert Grand Piano at the Melrose Memorial Hall. The Winchester Chamber Music held their festival in Melrose this year. I believe one of the reasons is that Memorial Hall is air conditioned!

Incredible Falcone concert grand piano

I had the good furtune to tune up a wonderful rare Falcone grand piano the other day.  I understand they only made around 200 of these. It was a treat to say the least.  I didn’t want to get up.
